On testing days, it is extra important to attend to home routines and set students up for success. Please ensure that your student gets a good night’s sleep the night before testing, arrives at school on time on the days of testing, and has a healthy and hearty breakfast on the days of testing. We want to ensure students have the energy and stamina needed for the testing period.
Further, as a parent, you are a critical partner in ensuring that your students have a positive outlook and frame of mind about testing. As testing approaches and throughout the testing window, take extra time to encourage your student and offer words that instill confidence in their abilities and perseverance to ensure they arrive at school feeling good about themselves and have a positive outlook on the day.
If you have any questions, we invite you to visit the district’s website and discuss the available resources with your student: https://henry.k12.ga.us/Page/151339.
● Experience Online Georgia provides students with an opportunity to become familiar with the online testing platform through the Test Practice Link. This practice site does not require a log-in and is available 7 days a week.
○ Please note that this site is not designed as a “practice test” to measure a student’s knowledge of course content. It is only intended to allow students to familiarize themselves with the online testing platform. http://www.gaexperienceonline.com
● Georgia Milestones Study Guides are intended to serve as a resource for parents and students. They contain practice questions and learning activities for each content area.
